Can I post a travel related ad here w/o getting flamed?

I've followed this newsgroup for close to two years now, and I can't remember ever seeing a charter posted for this group so I guess you can post ad's here. Just make sure that they're on topic (travel/africa) and don't post them every day. You could of course also consider using rec.travel.marketplace instead of this group.

The default situation is that you cannot post ads. There are a few newsgroups/hierarchies that permit ads in their charters but this is not one of them.

Posting ads here will result in a reaction somewhere between gently flame and loud boycott, depending on the volume and obnoxiousness of the advertising.
